Plumbing and A/C companies in Harris County cluster in northwest and west Houston, Cypress, Tomball, Spring and Katy: the 8 ZIP codes with the most of them are all there. The county has 1,156 of them, plus 221 roofing companies.
Their Hispanic homeowner customers are spread differently. East Houston, Pasadena, Channelview and Baytown have the highest share, while Katy (77449) and west Houston (77084) have the most homes and also rank near the top for contractors.
